# HD Protocol — Brand guidelines

## Name
Use HD Protocol. Keep domain names and the .hood extension lowercase.
Existing website addresses, social handles, and software package names remain unchanged.

## Logo
Use the original PNG symbol, available from /logo.png on the marketing website.
Pair it with HD Protocol in Inter Medium or Semibold. On dark backgrounds, use a light wordmark while preserving the original symbol.
Leave clear space of at least half the symbol width. Minimum symbol height: 24px on screen.
Do not distort, rotate, recolor, or add effects to the logo.

## Colors
Signal lime #C4F83D — primary actions and highlights.
Ivory #F6F7F2 — backgrounds.
Ink #1C2018 — text.
Sage #82946A — secondary accents.
Forest #4B6728 — green text on light backgrounds.
Mist #D5DDCA — borders.
Use dark text on lime. Check contrast for small text; sage is primarily decorative.

## Typography
Inter Regular for body copy, Medium or Semibold for headlines.
Use monospace sparingly for small labels and technical data.

## Visual language
Ivory ceramic surfaces, fine engraving, restrained sage accents, and spacious layouts.
Keep movement subtle and honor reduced-motion preferences.

## Voice and affiliation
Use clear, direct language centered on names, identity, and ownership.
